| The application value of knowledge, attitude, practice model in patients with spinal cord injury care research |

Abstract Objective To explore and analyze the application effect of knowledge, attitude, practice model in nursing of patients with radiation and chemotherapy of spinal cord injury. Methods From June 2014 to June 2016, 90 cases with radiation and chemotherapy of spinal cord injury treated in Shengjing Hospital of China Medical University were selected. All the patients divided into the control group and observation group according to the random number table, with 45 cases in each group. The patients in the control group were given to routine nursing only, and the patients in the observation group were given to knowledge, attitude, practice model based on the control group. All the patients were treated for one month. The pain score, functional independence evaluation questionnaire score, anxiety, depression and quality of life of two groups were compared. Results The NRS score of two groups after nursing were lower than before, and FIM score was increased, the improvement of observation group was more significant than that of the control group after nursing nursing, with statistically significant difference (P < 0.05). The SAS and SDS scores of the two groups after nursing were significantly lower than before, the decrease of scores in observation group were more remarkable than that in the control group after nursing, with statistically significant difference (P < 0.05). The physical function, role function, cognitive function, emotional function and social function score of the two groups after nursing were increased, and the improvement of observation group was more significant than that of the control group, with statistically significant difference (P < 0.05). Conclusion The application of knowledge, attitude, practice model treated in the patients with radiation and chemotherapy of spinal cord injury based on nursing can improve pain relief, promote the functional recovery, reduce anxiety depression, and improve the quality of life.
