Abstract Stroke is a common and frequently-occurring disease of the nervous system, which is a serious threat to human health. Acupuncture treatment of stroke has been widely recognized, acupuncture can effectively inhibit the cascade reaction and neuronal damage after cerebral ischemia. This article discusses the mechanism of electroacupuncture intervention for cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury, and provides a theoretical basis for the treatment of this disease by electroacupuncture.
