Abstract Sepsis is life-threatening organ dysfunction caused by a deregulated host response to infection, which is critical and can develop into septic shock. There is an inseparable relationship between coagulation disorders and the degree of disease severity and prognosis in patients with sepsis, coagulation disorders runs through the whole pathological process of sepsis. This article mainly reviews the pathogenesis and TCM therapy of coagulation disorders in sepsis, so as to provide new ideas and methods for treating sepsis in clinic.
