Study on purification technology of syringin in Cortex Ilicis Rotundae by D-900 resin |

Abstract Objective To research the method for purification technology of syringin in Cortex Ilicis Rotundae by D-900 resin. Methods The purification conditions of the resin were investigated by high performance liquid chromatography and ultraviolet spectrophotometry. The retention rate of syringin and the decolorization rate of the solution were investigated. Results The purification parameters of D-900 resin was as following: resin weight and sample volume ratio of 1∶5, resin column diameter and high ratio of 1∶5, adsorption velocity of 2 BV/h. The retention rate of syringin was above 80% and the decolorization rate of the solution was above 30% under these conditions. Conclusion The purification technology of syringin is simple and feasible.
