| Application effect of evidence-based nursing in patients undergoing laparoscopic cystectomy for ovarian cysts |

Abstract Objective To study the effect of evidence-based nursing in laparoscopic cystectomy for ovarian cysts. Methods From January 2015 to January 2016, 92 cases with ovarian cyst diagnosed in the First Affiliated Hospital of Hebei North University were selected and divided into general group and observation group according to random number table, with 46 cases in each group. The general group was received routine nursing, and the observation group was received evidence-based nursing intervention. The incidence of postoperative complications, the scores of nursing quality and psychological anxiety of the two groups were evaluated. Results The incidence of postoperative complications in the general group was 28.26%, and the incidence rate of the observation group was 10.87%, the incidence of postoperative complications in the observation group was lower than that in the normal group (P < 0.05). The scores of nursing quality in the general group were lower than those in the observation group, such as the prevention of complications, psychological intervention, condition monitoring and health education (P < 0.05). The postoperative recovery of gastrointestinal function, hospitalization, and ambulation of patients in the general group were longer than those in the observation group (P < 0.05). At admission, the psychological anxiety scores of the two groups were not statistically significant (P > 0.05). After intervention, the anxiety score in the observation group was lower than that in the general group (P < 0.05). Conclusion Evidence-based nursing can effectively improve the clinical nursing quality and the psychological anxiety of patients, reduce the incidence of postoperative complications.
