Abstract Cardiac rehabilitation of integrated Chinese and western medicine is aimed at improving the quality of life in patients with cardiac diseases by various treatment methods of Chinese and western medicine. According to the characters of cardiac diseases, the Fuyang theory is put forward to restore the normal physiological function of human body by helping and adjusting Yang qi, which is consistent with the acupuncture mechanism of dredging the meridian, strengthening body resistance and eliminating evil, regulating Yin and Yang. This paper mainly expounds the application of acupuncture guided by Fuyang theory in cardiac rehabilitation from the origin of acupuncture, principle of acupuncture, Fuyang theory and the mechanism of acupuncture guided by Fuyang theory, in order to help patients with cardiac diseases restore health.
