Analysis on the clinical related influence factors of thyroid stimulating hormone in the early pregnancy of pregnant women |

Abstract Objective To observe the relationship of serum thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) with human chorionic gonadotropin (β-hCG), estrogen and thyroid-associated antibodies in the early pregnancy of pregnant women, and to evaluate the clinical value of TSH screening in early pregnancy. Methods Total 102 healthy pregnant women with 10-12 weeks of perinatal period treated in Aerospace Center Hospital from January to October 2016 were selected as research objects. According to the serum TSH level, they were divided into TSH≤2.5 μU/mL group and TSH>2.5 μU/mL group. The differences of β-hCG and estrogen between the two groups and the relationship with thyroglobulin antibodies (TGAb) and thyroid peroxidase antibody (TPOAb) were compared. Results There were significant differences in the levels of β-hCG between the two groups (P < 0.05), and the increase of serum TSH had a correlation with thyroid-associated antibodies. Conclusion The increase of TSH levels in early pregnancy is related to β-hCG and thyroid-associated antibodies.
