Clinical research situation of asymptomatic cerebral infarction |

Abstract Asymptomatic cerebral infarction (ACI) is a kind of cerebrovascular disease, which is associated with age, hypertension, carotid atherosclerosis and so on. Because of the ACI does not show typical symptoms and signs, both doctors and patients often ignore it, most of them are found by physical examination, at this time the patient's brain parenchyma has been damaged, and even irreversible pathological changes have happened. Early detection, intervention and treatment timely is extremely important. If not timely control the risk factors of ACI, it can increase the risk of cerebral infarction, neurocognitive dysfunction and mental illness. At present, ACI is detected mostly by MRI, high resolution MRI can improve the detection rate of ACI and reduce the misdiagnosis rate.
