Application of virtual reality and augmented reality technology based on multimodal functional navigation in neurosurgical teaching |

Abstract Neuroanatomy is complicated and difficult to master. The operation is difficult and it has higher requirements for minimally invasive and meticulous level. In addition, the teaching, training and dissection methods of department of neurosurgery operation are limited. At present, the application of virtual reality technology in department of neurosurgery teaching and clinical practice has been reported, but there are few reports about the application of augmented reality technology in neurosurgical teaching. This paper introduces the multimodal neuronavigation planning platform, virtual reality and augmented reality technology in neurosurgical teaching are analyzed and discussed.
