Abstract The study of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) Constitution is one of the hot spots, however, the depth of this areais was not satisfied. There were three main problems——how to understand the concept of physical and syndromes, how to standardize identification methods and how to apply in clinical. Therefore, it is the main direction of the study of TCM Constitution to grasp the connotation of constitution, which can make physical identification method diversification, develop towards a direction of combined macro and micro, in order to achieve the combination of subjective and objective, macro and micro.
