Abstract In long-term clinical practice, School of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Mutual Synergizing in Lingnan is continuous developing and innovating theory of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) theory and therapy. Especially for the treatment of peripheral facial paralysis, It has formed a TCM treatment system which is based on the combination of acupuncture and medicine, combined with the acupuncture and cupping in Dazhui acupoint, facial flash tank, psychological counseling and personal care. In the course of treatment, the school not only pay attention to the advantage of acupuncture and point-injection, but also make a focus on the other particular therapies, and for the peripheral facial paralysis morbidity characteristic, staging treatment, individual therapy, it has achieved remarkable curative effect. This paper systematically summarizes the experience and experience of School of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Mutual Synergizing in Lingnan in the treatment of peripheral facial paralysis, and attached a typical medical case to discuss it together.
