Research progress of long nong-coding RNA-LET in cancers |

Abstract Tumor low expression of lnRNA (lncRNA-LET) is located in 15q24.1 of 4 bands of 2 region of long arm of chromosome 15, which can inhibit the occurrence, development, metastasis and apoptosis of tumors. It has been proved that lncRNA-LET exists in various tumors and its expression is down-regulated. At present, it is believed that lncRNA-LET plays a role as a competing endogenous RNA (ceRNA) by competing with microRNAs (miRNAs)and acts as a "molecular sponge" of this group of miRNAs. LncRNA-LET is a hotspot of current research, which is expected to become a new marker for diagnosis and prognosis of tumors and a potential therapeutic target. This paper reviews the recent phase studies on the role of lncRNA-LET in tumors, with a view to providing reference for further research on ncRNA-LET and tumors.
