| Clinical study of Liuweianshen Capsules combined with Flupentixol and Melitracen Tablets in the treatment of mild and moderate anxiety depression |

Abstract Objective To explore the clinical efficacy and safety of Liuweianshen Capsules combined with Flupentixol and Melitracen Tablets in the treatment of mild and moderate anxiety depression. Methods From January 2015 to December 2017, in Chongqing Mental Health Center, 105 patients with mild and moderate anxiety depression were selected, according to the random indicator method, they were divided into control group (52 cases) and treatment group (53 cases). The control group was treated with Flupentixol and Melitracen Tablets, the treatment group was treated with Liuweianshen Capsules combined with Flupentixol and Melitracen Tablets, two groups were treated for 8 treatment periods. The clinical curative effect after treatment, the SAS scores, SDS scores and levels of serum MPO, 5-HT, LH, FSH, E2 in two groups before and after treatment were was detected and compared. The adverse reactions of the two groups during the treatment were compared. Results Total effective rate of treatment group was significantly higher than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). After treatment, the SAS scores, SDS scores and levels of serum MPO, LH, FSH in the two groups were significantly lower than before treatment, the levels of serum 5-HT, E2 in the two groups were significantly higher than before treatment, and the SAS scores, SDS scores and levels of serum MPO, LH, FSH in the treatment group were significantly lower than the control group, the levels of serum 5-HT, E2 were significantly higher than the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). No serious adverse reactions occurred in the two groups during the treatment. Conclusion Liuweianshen Capsules combined with Flupentixol and Melitracen Tablets for the treatment of mild and moderate anxiety depression has good efficacy and low adverse reactions, it can reduce the anxiety depression symptoms, improve the serum MPO, 5-HT and sex hormone levels, and it is worthy clinical application.
