| The influence of case management model on self-management ability and psychological resilience of patients with tuberculosis and AIDS |

Abstract Objective To explore the impact of case management mode on self-management ability and psychological resilience of tuberculosis patients with AIDS. Methods A total of 132 patients who received anti-tuberculosis and anti-viral treatment in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Sixth People′s Hospital from May to December 2017 were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group by random number table method, with 66 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing management, and the observation group was given case management model. The self-management ability and psychological elasticity scores of the two groups were compared. Results There was no significant difference in self-management ability and psychological elasticity score between the two groups before intervention (P > 0.05). The above indexes of the two groups were higher than those of the same group before intervention, the above indexes of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion The implementation of case management can effectively improve the self-management ability of tuberculosis patients with AIDS and enhance their psychological resilience.
