The effect of Argatroban sequential therapy combined with Safflower Yellow Pigment in the treatment of multiple lacunar cerebral infarction in the elderly |

Abstract Objective To discuss the effect in the treatment of senile multiple lacunar infarction with Argatroban sequential therapy and Safflower Yellow Pigment. Methods One hundred and eighteen elderly patients with multiple lacunar cerebral infarction admitted to the Department of Neurology, the Second Affiliated Hospital of Qiqihar Medical University from December 2015 to December 2016 were selected as the study objects. The random number table method was used to divide the patients into observation group and the control group, with 59 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Argatroban sequential therapy on the basis of conventional drugs, while the observation group was treated with Safflower Yellow Pigment on the basis of the treatment regimen of the control group, and the therapeutic effect, neurological function, cerebral blood flow velocity and the effect on liver and kidney function and coagulation indexes were compared between the two groups. Results After 2 months of treatment, the therapeutic effect of the two groups was compared, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). The scores of national institule of health seroke scale (NIHSS) and medified rankin scale (MRS) of the two groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). The NIHSS and MRS scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group after treatment, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). After treatment, the maximal blood flow velocity in the systolic period of basilar artery (BA), middle cerebral artery (MCA) and anterior cerebral artery (ACA) of intracranial vessels in the two groups were higher than those before treatment, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). After treatment, the rates of BA, MCA and ACA in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in liver and kidney function and coagulation indexes between the two groups before and after treatment (P > 0.05), and no serious adverse drug reactions occurred during the treatment. Conclusion Argatroban sequential therapy combined with Safflower Yellow Pigment can effectively treat multiple lacunar cerebral infarction in the elderly, improve the neurological defects and disability of patients, and promote blood supply to brain tissues.
