Determination of four sugar components in Fuzilizhong Pills preparation |

Abstract Objective To establish a method for simultaneous determination of four sugar components in honey of Fuzilizhong Pills preparation. Methods High-performance liquid chromatography was performanced and the column was Prevail Carbohyrate ES and acetonitrile-water at a flow rate of 1.0 ml/min in a gradient elution, the column temperature was 30 ℃. Results Fructose, glucose, sucrose, and maltose had a good linearity in the ranges of 75.055 0-375.275 0, 80.006 5- 400.032 5, 10.009 5-50.047 5, 10.003 5-50.017 5 μg (r>0.999), whose recoveries were 94.7%-100.1% (RSD<2.0%, n=9). Conclusion The method is scientific and accurate, and can be used for the quality control of honey in Fuzilizhong Pills preparation.
