Abstract Tinnitus is a common disease and complication in clinic, which is more common in adults. In recent years, with the change of lifestyle and the increase of learning pressure, more and more children have been diagnosed with tinnitus, especially for children who do not correctly express the condition, which often leads to delay of the condition and brings difficulties to clinical diagnosis and treatment. Therefore, tinnitus should be paid attention to in pediatrics. This paper summarizes the clinical experience of Professor Wang Youpeng, a famous traditional Chinese medicine doctor, in the treatment of tinnitus, and concludes that characteristics of children in cold areas are prone to external evil, dampness and heat in the spleen and stomach, and fire of the heart and liver. The etiology and pathogenesis are divided into four aspects: wind-cold external attack, phlegm turbidness and dampness, liver-qi stagnation, and kidney unit loss. In the treatment, attention should be paid to both manifestation and root cause, strengthening vital qi to eliminate pathogenic factor, so as to stop tinnitus and clear the ear. At the same time, regulate children’s psychological problems in order to treat the mind and body together. Attached to the document is a detailed explanation of the case.
