| Visualization of myocardial injury in sepsis treated with traditional Chinese medicine based on CiteSpace |

Abstract Objective To explore the research status and trend of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of myocardial injury in sepsis by CiteSpace software. Methods The published literatures on myocardial injury in sepsis were retrieved by computer from CNKI, Wanfang Data, VIP, and China Biomedical Literature Service System from inception to May 2023. The bibliometrics software CiteSpace 6.1.R3 was used to visually analyze the number of publications, authors, institutional cooperation, and keywords of the included literatures. Results A total of 292 literatures were included. Since 2006, the number of literatures showed an overall upward trend. There were 208 institutions, and the institution with the largest number of literatures was Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Qian Fenghua and Hu Dandan had the largest number of papers published in this field, and the core authors with a high number of papers were Peng Xiaohong and others, form a core team of authors. Key words showed that the research in this field mainly focuses on the mechanism of action and clinical research of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of myocardial injury in sepsis. Among them, Xuebijing, inflammation, oxidative stress, ligustrazine, electroacupuncture and other high-frequency keywords were the research hotspots. Conclusion Traditional Chinese medicine treatment of myocardial damage in sepsis is still in the development stage. The mechanism and clinical research of traditional Chinese medicine treatment of myocardial damage in sepsis are the research trend. In the future, we should pay attention to the depth of research and carry out high-quality research.
