Abstract In this paper, the PDCA cycle management research method is used to improve and study the performance assessment of large-scale activities in clinical departments of hospitals in detail, so as to better improve management work, enhance the comprehensive strength of hospitals, enhance the efficiency of hospital management services, and improve staff satisfaction. Through formulating plans, clarifying problems, improving research, organizing implementation, supervising and summarizing, regular assessment, effective communication and continuous improvement, and constantly improving performance appraisal management methods for large-scale activities, the clinical departments have increasingly strengthened their attention, further improved the management level of functional departments, and better reflected fairness and justice. At the same time, the establishment of a scientific and effective performance appraisal system has aroused the enthusiasm of work, improved the efficiency and quality of work, and achieved good social benefits.
