Abstract The development of science and technology and medical education puts forward new requirements for the process and approach of medical education. As a new teaching method, electronic learning(E-learning) has been widely used in education, training, and other fields, especially in foreign countries. In the field of domestic medical education, E-learning has also developed rapidly and played an active role. With the development of this application trend, many scholars have carried out related research on it. Based on the interpretation of E-learning mode, this paper traces its development history and application status in the field of medical education, reviews relevant research materials at home and abroad, and provides constructive inspiration for the practice research of E-learning in domestic medical education.
