Clinical research progress of efficacy and safety of Remazolam in painless gastroenteroscopy |

Abstract At present, Remimazolam is being widely used as a new benzodiazepine sedative in painless gastroenteroscopy. Compared with commonly used sedative drugs such as Propofol and Midazolam, it is still unknown to a certain extent whether its sedative effect is superior and its safety is higher, and further clinical verification is needed. This review of PubMed and CNKI studies on Remimazolam applied to painless gastroenteroscopy find that Remimazolam has significant sedative effect, guaranteed comfort, less adverse reactions to circulation system, respiratory system, and cognitive function, and is used in combination with analgesics, especially alfentanil, during painless procedures to reduce the risk of respiratory depression.
