Abstract Due to the excessive use of antibiotics in medical treatment, breeding, agriculture, and other fields, antibiotic resistance is spreading rapidly around the world, bringing a huge crisis to ecological environment security and human health. Aiming at the generation and spread of antibiotic resistance in ecological environment, this paper discusses the generation mechanism of antibiotic resistance, summarizes the transmission and storage hotspots of antibiotic resistance in ecological environment such as antibiotic pharmaceutical factory, farm and farmland, and summarizes the biological and environmental transmission of antibiotic resistance in ecological environment. The related factors affecting the spread of antibiotic resistance in ecological environment are discussed. Finally, the research direction of the spread of antibiotic resistance in the ecological environment in the future is prospected, in order to provide reference for the related research of antibiotic resistance in the ecological environment.
