Exploration of online and offline hybrid curriculum teaching reform of fermentation engineering for the cultivation of application-oriented talents in the biomedical industry |

Abstract In the cultivation of applied talents in the biomedical industry, the traditional fermentation engineering course has some shortcomings, such as inadequate applicability of the teaching content, poor grasp of the operation and fault analysis of the fermentation tank, insufficient students' willingness to learn actively and ability to learn independently, and inadequate systematization of the curriculum ideology and politics. Therefore, this paper discusses the teaching reform of the online and offline hybrid curriculum system of fermentation engineering for the cultivation of applied talents in the biomedical industry from the aspects of teaching content design, teaching resource construction, online and offline hybrid teaching process based on virtual simulation experiments, and curriculum ideological and political integration. The teaching reform can improve the teaching effect of fermentation engineering, improve the quality of application-oriented talent training, and provide a reference for solving the shortage of application-oriented talent training in the biomedical industry.
