Effect of systematic nursing model based on color psychology concept on psychological state and quality of life of patients with subarachnoid hemorrhage |

Abstract Objective To explore the effect of systematic nursing model based on color psychology concept on psychological state and quality of life of patients with subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH). Methods A total of 120 patients with SAH admitted from March 2019 to June 2021 in the Department of Neurosurgery, the Affiliated to Huaian NO.1 People’s Hospital of Nanjing Medical University were selected as the study objects, and they were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 60 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing, and the observation group received systematic nursing model based on color psychology concept. The psychological state and quality of life of the two groups were observed at enrollment and eight weeks after intervention. Results After eight weeks of intervention, the score and total score of negative emotion domain on the profile of mood state (POMS) of both groups were lower than that of the enrollment, and the score of POMS positive emotion domain was higher than that of the enrollment, and the score and total score of POMS in the observation group were lower than that of the control group, and those of the score of POMS in the positive emotion domain was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05); at eight weeks of intervention, the total scores of quality of life scale in both groups were higher than those in the enrollment, and those of the observation group was higher than the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The systematic nursing model based on color psychology concept can promote the elimination of negative emotions in SAH patients, and has a positive effect on improving their quality of life.
