Abstract Objective To analyze the high risk factors of postoperative postpartum hemorrhage after cesarean section. Methods A total of 142 patients who underwent cesarean section in Department of Obstetrics, Qingdao Municipal Hospital from October 2019 to April 2020 were selected. According to whether postoperative postpartum hemorrhage occurred after cesarean section，the patients were divided into occurrence group （72 cases） and non occurrence group （70 cases）, and the high risk factors of postoperative postpartum hemorrhage after cesarean section were analyzed. Results There were significant differences in the timing of cesarean section, uterine fatigue, placenta previa, and giant fetus between two groups (P＜0.05). Timing of cesarean section, uterine fatigue, placenta previa, and giant fetus were risk factors for postpartum hemorrhage after cesarean section (OR=12.716, 20.259, 5.381, 3.737, P＜0.05). Conclusion The occurrence of postoperative postpartum hemorrhage after caesarean section is affected by many factors, so clinical intervention should be carried out according to the influencing factors.
