Study on the correlation of ox-LDL and LDL system with the attack of coronary heart disease in hyperuricemia |

Abstract Objective To investigate the correlation of oxidized low density lipoprotein (ox-LDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) system with the attack of coronary heart disease in hyperuricemia. Methods One hundred patients with hyperuricemia treated in Kashi Prefecture Second People's Hospital, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region ("our hospital" for short) from October 2014 to October 2016 were selected as research objects, among whom, there were 38 cases with coronary heart disease (CHD) (CHD group) and 62 cases without CHD (no CHD group). 50 healthy controls examined in our hospital at the same time were selected as control group. The enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was used to detect ox-LDL, enzymic method was used to detect LDL. The levels of blood ox-LDL and LDL in the three groups were compared, and the correlation of ox-LDL and LDL system with CHD was analyzed. Results The levels of blood ox-LDL and LDL in CHD group were significantly higher than those of no CHD group and control group, the differences were all statistically significant (all P < 0.05), and the levels of blood ox-LDL and LDL in no CHD group were significantly higher than those of control group, the differences were all statistically significant (all P < 0.05). By Spearman analysis, ox-LDL, LDL were positively correlated with the incidence of coronary heart disease (r = 0.572, 0.628, all P < 0.05). Conclusion ox-LDL and LDL are positively correlated with the attack of coronary heart disease in hyperuricemia. During the course of treatment, it is necessary to strengthen the anti-oxidant treatment and observe the changes of ox-LDL and LDL dynamically.
