Exploration on the construction path of intelligent medical engineering specialty in traditional Chinese medicine colleges and universities |

Abstract Intelligent medical engineering is a new major born under the background of the integrated development of new engineering and new medical science. It is an important measure for the reform of higher medical education to adapt to the new stage of medical development. The construction of intelligent medical engineering in colleges and universities that specialty in the traditional Chinese medicine should not only follow the development rules of intelligent medicine, but also integrate the theoretical knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine, aiming to cultivate students’ ability to solve practical problems of traditional Chinese medicine by using artificial intelligence technology, and help the innovation of traditional Chinese medicine. This paper first introduces the development process of intelligent medicine and the present situation of the development intelligent medical engineering, and then analyzes the necessity of establishing intelligent medical engineering in colleges and universities that specialty in traditional Chinese medicine from the needs of economic and social development and discipline construction. Finally, it focuses on the construction path of intelligent medical engineering in Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
