Abstract Thyroid disease and anemia are both common clinical diseases, they interact with each other. This paper describes the research progress on the correlation between thyroid disease and anemia, including hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, subclinical hypothyroidism and subclinical hypothyroidism in pregnancy, discusses the research progress of clinical prevalence, pathogenesis, clinical outcome, treatment and other aspects of thyroid disease combined with anemia, so as to provide ideas and clues for further study of correlation between thyroid function and anemia.
