Research progress on mechanism of electroacupuncture to relieve morphine tolerance |

Abstract Owing to less toxic and side effects, simple and convenient operation and good efficacy, electroacupuncture has been widely used in clinic. Currently, the therapeutic efficacy of electroacupuncture in gastrointestinal diseases, neuropsychiatric diseases and various types of pain has been affirmed, and electroacupuncture also plays an important role in relieving morphine tolerance. The paper reviews previous studies on electroacupuncture and morphine tolerance and discusses the mechanism of relieving morphine tolerance in combination with the current mechanism of morphine tolerance, in order to solve the problem of morphine tolerance through the method of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine.
