Study of PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway and immunoglobulin in the pathogenesis of granulomatous lobular mastitis |

Abstract Objective To analyze the pathogenesis of granulomatous lobular mastitis involved in PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway and immunoglobulin, and provide reference for related treatment. Methods Sixty patients with granulomatous lobular mastitis diagnosed and treated from June 2015 to June 2016 in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi′an Jiaotong University (“our hospital” for short) were selected as the observation group. Thirty healthy subjects in our hospital were selected as the control group. The patient′s PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway protein and immunoglobulin levels were analyzed. Results Compared with the control group, the levels of PI3K, AKT, mTOR and interleukin-2 (IL-2), IL-6, IL-10 were significantly increased in the observation group, and the levels of immunoglobulin IgA, IgM and IgG were significantly decreased, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway proteins and immunoglobulin have a close relationship with the pathogenesis of granulomatous lobular mastitis.
