Effect of total controlled nursing on clinical prognosis and nutritional status of patients with end-stage renal disease undergoing hemodialysis |

Abstract Objective To explore the effect of comprehensive control nursing on the clinical prognosis and nutritional status of patients with end-stage renal disease undergoing hemodialysis. Methods Eighty patients with end-stage renal disease in the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University from January 2018 to December 2020 were selected as the subjects of this study. Control group and observation group were set up according to random number method, with 40 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing, and the observation group received comprehensive control nursing. The adverse mood performance, quality of life score, nursing compliance, and nutritional indexes before and after nursing were analyzed. Results After intervention, serum total protein, albumin, and hemoglobin levels in both groups were higher than before intervention, while those of observation group were lower than those of control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After intervention, anxiety and depression scores of the two groups were lower than before intervention, while those of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After intervention, the scores of compliance and quality of life in two groups were lower than before intervention, while those of the observation group were lower than those of control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion In the face of end-stage renal disease patients to analyze, the use of comprehensive control nursing measures can effectively improve the quality of life of patients at the same time, reduce patients’ bad mood, improve nursing compliance, and enhance the nutritional performance of patients, it is worth each department to adopt for reference.
