Effects of public account health education combined with cognitive behavioral nursing intervention on health behavior and self-efficacy of patients with coronary heart disease |

Abstract Objective To explore the effects of public account health education combined with cognitive behavioral nursing intervention on health behavior and self-efficacy of patients with coronary heart disease. Methods A total of 130 patients with coronary heart disease admitted to the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine, Tangdu Hospital, Air Force Military Medical University from January 2020 to December 2021 were selected as study object, they were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 65 cases in each group. The control group was treated with routine nursing intervention, and the observation group was treated with public number health education combined with cognitive behavioral nursing intervention on this basis. Compliance rate of health behaviors, general self-efficacy scale (GSES) scores, self-management scores, and disease mastery were compared between the two groups. Results The compliance rates of correct medication, scientific diet, good habits, persistent exercise, and regular review of health behaviors in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). After two weeks of intervention, GSES scores, and self-management scores in both groups were higher than before intervention, and the observation group was higher than the control group (P<0.05); the rate of disease knowledge mastery in observation group was higher than that in control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of public health education combined with cognitive behavioral nursing intervention in patients with coronary heart disease can improve patients’ health behavior, enhance patient’ sense of self-efficacy, and enhance patients’ disease cognition degree.
