Abstract Hashimoto thyroiditis is a common clinical autoimmune thyroid disease, and its pathogenesis is still unclear. Modern medicine focuses on follow-up, such as concurrent thyrotoxicosis and hypothyroidism, and carries out antithyroid drugs or hormone supplement treatment. There are many clinical studies on Hashimoto’s thyroiditis in traditional Chinese medicine, but there are many controversial points in the diagnosis and treatment of integration of traditional and western medicine. Based on this, the Beijing expert consensus on the diagnosis and treatment of Hashimoto thyroiditis with integration of traditional and western medicine is formulated to clarify the corresponding views and sort out the diagnosis and treatment scheme of integrated of traditional western medicine.
