Abstract This study focuses on the new challenges faced by public hospitals’ network ideology work, and demonstrates the importance of public hospitals’ network ideology work in accordance with the requirements of age. This paper analyzes the main problems of public hospital network ideology work, such as the implementation of responsibility is tight on upper layer and loose in lower layer, the position management needs to be optimized urgently, and the ability of early warning and judgment is insufficient. Problem-oriented, it is clear that the network ideology of public hospitals should follow the principles of unified leadership, safety first, and correct orientation. This paper puts forward the strategies to promote the continuous optimization of public hospital network ideology work from four aspects: compaction of the responsibility of public hospital network ideology work, strengthening the management of public hospital network ideology position, improving the risk prevention ability of public hospital network ideology, and making good use of normalized performance evaluation and accountability.
