Analysis of research hotspots of venous infusion port nursing in China based on bibliometrics |

Abstract Objective To analyze the hotspots of nursing research related to intravenous infusion ports by bibliometrics in China. Methods Using “infusion port” and “nursing” as the search terms, the database was searched in CNKI, Wanfang, VIP, and other databases, and the period was set from the establishment of the database to December 2021. The data was exported in RefWorks format, and the CNKI literature visualization analysis system, Excel, and other software were used to draw the total number of papers published, the statistics of the number of published papers per unit, the distribution map of fund support, the co-occurrence map of keywords, the map of author cooperation network, and the map of literature mutual citation network. Results From 1998 to 2021, there were a total of 1 424 related literatures, of which 71 were funded by various levels of funds. The institution with the largest number of publications was the Fourth Hospital of Hebei Medical University, and the word with the highest frequency of keyword co-occurrence was “internal jugular vein”. The most active author of collaborative papers was Zhou Yingfeng (Fudan University), and the most frequently cited document was the “Code of Practice for Intravenous Treatment Nursing Techniques” led by the former National Health Commission in 2013. Conclusion This study analyzes the current status and hotspots in the field of VAP nursing research in China, and has certain reference significance for related nursing staff.
