Abstract With the gradual aging of the population, the incidence rate of chronic heart failure is increasing, and the mortality of heart failure is also on the rise. Chronic heart failure is a common clinical syndrome in cardiology, which is mainly caused by insufficient cardiac output due to ventricular filling and / or impaired ejection function. This article summarizes Professor Zhou Yabin’s clinical experience in the treatment of chronic heart failure, and believes that the pathogenesis of this disease is complex and the treatment methods are changeable. Paying attention to the changing characteristics of a single disease pathogen, it is also necessary to grasp the overall disease situation, and integrate and understand it according to the overall syndrome differentiation concept of traditional Chinese medicine, so as to control the changes of the disease more profoundly.
