| Questions and explanations in the protection of living traditional knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine |

Abstract In the collection and sorting of living traditional knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine, the personnel of project responsible units, grass-roots medical and health units, participating investigators and holders of traditional Chinese medicine knowledge in provinces, cities, districts and counties raised many questions in the process of project participation, and put forward many constructive opinions and suggestions on the protection of traditional Chinese medicine knowledge. Problems related to the knowledge holders in the process of carrying out the work of traditional Chinese medicine in 15 regions are sorted out, and explained from four aspects: the concept of live traditional Chinese medicine knowledge, the effectiveness of traditional Chinese medicine knowledge protection, the use of living traditional knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine database and the problems existing in the holders themselves. It is expected to provide reference and help for the follow-up collection and sorting of traditional Chinese medicine knowledge.
