| Effect of empowerment psychological guidance combined with nutritional intervention on rehabilitation of patients with primary liver cancer after transcatheter arterial chemoembolization |

Abstract Objective To explore the Effect of empowerment psychological guidance combined with nutritional intervention on rehabilitation of patients with primary liver cancer after transcatheter arterial chemoembolization(TACE). Methods A total of 168 patients with primary liver cancer who underwent TACE in the Department of Pain Liver Ward Fifth of Jiangsu Provincial People’s Hospital from March 2019 to March 2020 were selected. They were divided into observation group and control group by random number table method, with 84 cases in each group. The control group was received routine nursing, while the research group was received empowering psychological guidance combined with nutritional intervention nursing based on the control group. The coping ability, negative emotion, and nutritional status of the two groups were compared before and after nursing. Results After nursing, the coping score of the medical coping questionnaire in the two groups increased, and the observation group was higher than the control group, the yield and avoidance were decreased, and the observation group was lower than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05). The scores of Hamilton depression scale and Hamilton anxiety scale in the two groups were decreased, and the observation group was lower than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05). The hemoglobin, upper arm circumference and triceps skin fold thickness of the two groups were increased, and the observation group was higher than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05). Conclusion The empowering psychological guidance combined with nutritional intervention nursing was applied to patients with liver cancer after TACE to improve their coping ability, reduce negative emotions and improve the level of nutritional indicators.
