In the observation group, 1000 patients were registered in the outpatient clinic based on patients′ needs, and the other 1000 patients in the control group were registered in the routine outpatient service which did not carry out the method based on patients′ needs. The time of registration, the degree of satisfaction and subsequence visit registration menthod were explored. Results The time of registration in the observation group was shorter than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.01) in different periods, and the degree of satisfaction of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.01). The window registration and online appointment rate in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.01), while the rate of other registration methods was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.01). Conclusion Applying the registration method based on the patients′ needs can greatly improve the patients′ satisfaction, shorten the registration time and change the registration form of follow-up visit. It is worth of application and promotion.
