Investigation and analysis of pre-job training needs of new employees in tumor specialized hospitals |

Abstract Objective To understand the pre-job training needs of new employees in tumor specialized hospitals, and to provide reference and basis for the development of scientific and reasonable pre-job training plans in a targeted manner. Methods From July to August 2021, the cluster sampling method was used to select 352 new employees from the Cancer Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and the Cancer Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences of Hebei Province, and a questionnaire survey on pre-job training needs was conducted. 12 statistical items including basic information of the survey respondents and pre-job training needs were included in observation items. Results A total of 352 questionnaires were distributed and 352 were effectively recovered, with a recovery rate of 100%. New employees of tumor specialized hospitals generally believe that the ideal training period was one week or two to three days. The results showed that there was a statistically significant difference between the ideal training cycle demand indicators of different ages, whether it was a freshman, work experience, educational background of new employee (P < 0.05). There was a statistically significant difference in the training content demand indicators of different departments of new employee (P < 0.05). There was a statistically significant difference in the demand indicators of training assessment methods with different educational backgrounds of new employee (P < 0.05). Conclusion Guided by the pre-job training needs of new employees, formulate a pre-job training program for new employees in the oncology specialist hospital with a moderately efficient period, rich and practical content, and scientific and reasonable assessment. It will help to improve the pertinence and practicality of training and ensure the effect of pre-job training.
