Abstract Objective To investigate the application of individualized psychological nursing intervention in adult patients with moyamoya disease treated by combined cerebral revascularization. Methods A total of 180 adult patients with moyamoya disease who underwent extracranial and intracranial revascularation surgery in Beijing Tiantan Hospital, Capital Medical University, from November 2019 to July 2020 were enrolled in this study. They were divided into study group and control group by random number table method, with 90 cases in each group. The control group adopted routine nursing, and the research group adopted individualized anxiety and depression emotion nursing and training on the basis of routine nursing. Depression, anxiety, modified Rankin scale(mRS) score, and nursing satisfaction score were compared between the two group before and after intervention. Results There were no significant differences in depression, anxiety, and mRS scores between the two groups before intervention (P > 0.05). After intervention, the degree of depression and anxiety in the two groups were better than before intervention, and the observation group was better than the control group (P < 0.05), mRS scores of the two groups after intervention were lower than before intervention, and that of the study group was lower than the control group (P < 0.05). The nursing satisfaction of study group was higher than that of control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion Individualized psychological nursing is of great significance to improve the outcome of anxiety and depression, neurological function, and nursing satisfaction of patients with moyamoya.
