中药穴位敷贴治疗高龄骨质疏松性椎体压缩性骨折患者经皮椎体成形术围手术期腹胀便秘的临床效果

Abstract Objective To explore clinical effect of traditional Chinese medicine acupoint application on percutaneous vertebroplasty for abdominal distention and constipation in elderly patients with osteoporotic vertebral compression fracture (OVCF) during perioperative period. Methods A total of 100 elderly OVCF patients during perioperative period after percutaneous vertebroplasty admitted to Department of Orthopaedics of Shijiazhuang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from December 2019 to December 2020 were selected. All patients received percutaneous vertebroplasty and were randomly divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method, with 50 patients in each group. The control group was treated with placebo acupoint application, and the observation group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine acupoint application. After five days of treatment, the frequency of bowel sounds, Wexner constipation score, and Bristol fecal traits score were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the number of bowel sounds and Bristol fecal traits score in both groups were higher than before, Wexner constipation score was lower than before, and the number of bowel sounds and Bristol fecal traits score in the observation group were higher than the control group, and Wexner constipation score was lower than the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05). Conclusion In the perioperative period of percutaneous vertebroplasty for elderly patients with OVCF, traditional Chinese medicine acupoint application can enhance their gastrointestinal function, improve constipation symptoms, and enhance patient comfort, which has certain practical significance.
