| Effects of path health education management combined with children’s entertaining nursing on the disease awareness rate and compliance behavior of parents of children with Henoch Schönlein purpura |

Abstract Objective To explore the effects of path health education management combined with children’s entertaining nursing on the disease awareness rate and compliance behavior of parents of children with Henoch-Schönlein purpura. Methods A total of 108 parents of children with Henoch-Schönlein purpura treated in the Department of Pediatrics of the First Affiliated Hospital of Air Force Military Medical University from January 2020 to June 2021 were selected as the research subjects, they were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 54 in each group. The control group was managed by path health education, and the observation group was combined with children’s entertaining nursing on this basis. Parents’ self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) score, self-rating depression scale (SDS) score, disease awareness rate and compliance behavior were compared between the two groups. Results After intervention, SAS and SDS scores of the two groups were lower than before intervention, and observation group was lower than control group, the differences were statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05). The disease awareness rate of observation group was better than that of control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05). The compliance rate of observation group was higher than that of control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05). Conclusion The application of path health education management combined with children’s entertaining nursing can improve the psychological status of children with Henoch-Schönlein purpura, and improve the parents’ disease awareness rate and compliance rate, which is worthy of promotion and application.
