Abstract The normal shape of the cervical spine is physiological sagittal lordosis, and the sagittal balance of the cervical spine can reflect the arrangement of the cervical spine in the sagittal position. By evaluating the sagittal balance of the cervical spine, it can not only reflect the degeneration of the cervical spine to a certain extent, but also help spine surgeons choose and formulate relevant treatment methods. This article reviews the relevant literature at home and abroad in recent years, and provides the latest review of the sagittal balance of the cervical spine. This paper reviews the application of cervical spin sagittal balance in the diagnosis of cervical spondylosis and selection of related treatment methods, including the measurement and significance of cervical sagittal parameters, clinical evaluation, conservative treatment, and surgical treatment selection.
