Methods A total of 90 patients with chronic cervicitis treated in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Tangdu Hospital, Air Force Military Medical University from May 2020 to August 2021. According to random number table method, they were divided into routine group and intervention group. The routine group (45 cases) received routine nursing intervention, and the intervention group (45 cases) received predictive nursing intervention on the basis of routine nursing. The intervention time of both groups was two weeks. The knowledge of disease, the improvement of negative emotion, the clinical effect, and the occurrence of complications were observed. Results After the interwention, the score of disease knowledge in both groups were higher than before intervention, and the score of intervention group was higher than that of routine group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05); the scores of self-rating depression scale and self-rating anxiety scale in the two groups were lower than those before the intervention, and the scores of the intervention group were lower than those of the routine group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05); the total clinical effective rate of the intervention group was higher than that of the routine group, and the total incidence of complications was lower than that of the routine group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion Predictive nursing intervention during drug and physical therapy for patients with chronic cervicitis, can help patients improve their awareness of disease knowledge, alleviate their negative emotions, contribute to the overall effect of disease treatment and reduce complications.
