Abstract  Objective To explore the effect of path-based rehabilitation training on self-management ability and rehabilitation effect of patients with acute myocardial infarction after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Methods A total of 132 patients with acute myocardial infarction after PCI who were admitted to the Huaian First Hospital Affiliated Nanjing Medical University from July 2018 to June 2019 were selected, and they were divided into observation group (66 cases) and control group (66 cases) by random number table method. Routine nursing intervention and rehabilitation training guidance for the control group, and the observation group was combined with path-based rehabilitation training management on the basis of the control group. The patients were followed up for six months, self-management ability and cardiopulmonary function were compared between the two groups. Results After six months of follow-up, the scores of self-management ability in both groups were higher than before management, and the observation group was higher than the control group (P < 0.05). Left ventricular ejection fraction, maximum metabolic equivalent, and maximum oxygen uptake in two groups were higher than before management, and observation group was higher than control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion Path-based rehabilitation training can improve the self-management ability of patients with acute myocardial infarction after PCI and promote the recovery of cardiopulmonary function.
