Abstract Based on nearly 10 years of practice and research, Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine has explored the connotation of curriculum ideological and political construction, analyzed the problems existing in teachers’ curriculum ideological and political construction ability, and gradually formed a series of measures to cultivate teachers’ curriculum ideological and political construction ability. It mainly includes: academic forums to improve theoretical level, multi-level project research to open up growth path, demonstration team to teach and build experience, thematic websites to promote cutting-edge learning, workshops to reserve talents, and teacher-student interaction to achieve full education. Through repeated exploration and practice, professional teachers have significantly improved their ability of ideological and political construction in curriculum, produced many teaching achievements and played a leading role in demonstration.
