Abstract A case of abnormal coagulation function after laparoscopic cholecystectomy is reported, had two major abdominal bleeds, the coagulation factor test of the second abdominal hemorrhage showed that the activity of coagulation factor Ⅴ was 0.7%, and the Ⅴ antibody was 8.0 BU, and was diagnosed acquired clotting factor Ⅴ deficiency. After reviewing the literature, we analyzed the cause of acquired factor Ⅴ deficiency in this patient, which may be related to infection, plasma transfusion, and antibiotic use. After plasmapheresis and immunosuppression, the coagulation function gradually returned to normal. In this paper, literature review was conducted on the treatment of acquired factor Ⅴ deficiency in order to provide ideas for the diagnosis and management of clinicians.
