Analysis of research hotspots of clinical alarm management based on Web of Science |

Abstract Objective To analyze the the research status and hotspots of clinical alerm management, and provides reference for the research exploration and clinical work in this field in China. Methods Based on the Web of Science database, clinical alerm management literature was retrieved from the self-built database to June 2021, and the CiteSpace literature analysis software was used to map and analyze the scientific knowledge of the number of published articles, countries/institutions and keywords. Results A total of 171 articles were included. The number of papers published in the United States was the highest, and the university of Pennsylvania was the most prolific institution. Research focuses on: artificial intelligence, alarm safety, and alarm fatigue. Conclusion CiteSpace software was used to analyze the research status and hot spots of clinical alerm management to provide reference for future research.
