Abstract Professor Jin Zhe’s understanding of the etiology and pathogenesis of perimenopausal disorders is mainly as follows: kidney deficiency is the main cause, but there are many pathogenesis; qi movement counterflow and confusion, qi and blood disharmony; essence and blood depletion, more deficient and more stasis; deficiency-fire flaming up, malnutrition due to heart spirit. Treatment to tonify spleen and stomach, tonify liver and kidney, regulate qi and blood, disperse stasis, clear empty heat, calm nerves for the method, and add or subtract drugs according to the complication. Professor Jin Zhe pays special attention to the role of nourishing acquired in the treatment of perimenopausal disorders, and pays attention to regulate qi and blood, and flexibly uses drugs to add and subtract to treat perimenopausal disorders differentiation, with remarkable results.
